How we write, review, and update content
Eidode is an educational publication. Crypto is a high-stakes, fast-moving topic โ so our process exists to keep beginners safe and our content honest.
Our writing principles
- Beginner-first language. If a term is jargon to a first-time reader, we define it inline the first time it appears.
- Plain-English explanations. We favor concrete analogies ("think of it like a public spreadsheet") over technical precision when both are available.
- Practical safety guidance. Every guide includes a risk disclaimer and security checklist relevant to the topic.
- No hype, no FOMO.We don't use price-target language or urgency framing. Crypto is volatile; we say so.
- No financial advice. We explain how things work and what the risks are. We do not tell readers what to buy, sell, or hold.
Accuracy & sources
Every article goes through a three-step check before publish:
- Research. Facts are pulled from primary sources: project whitepapers, official exchange documentation, regulator publications, and well-known reference sites (e.g., the Bitcoin whitepaper, Ethereum.org docs).
- Plain-language review. A second reviewer reads the draft as a beginner and flags anything unclear, missing, or jargon-heavy.
- Safety check. A reviewer confirms risk disclosures, security recommendations, and that no language could be read as a buy/sell recommendation.
Numbers, prices, and dates are dated explicitly when they appear โ and refreshed (see below).
Updates & corrections
Crypto changes fast. We review and refresh articles on a rolling cadence:
- Monthly: the oldest 10% of articles are reviewed for outdated stats, fees, exchange features, and broken links.
- Per article: the visible Last reviewed date is updated when meaningful changes are made โ not when only typos are fixed.
- Corrections: if we publish something wrong, we fix it, note the change, and update the timestamp. Email hello@eidode.com to report an error.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links to crypto exchanges and tools on Eidode are affiliate links. If you sign up through one of them, we may earn a referral commission โ at no additional cost to you.
How we keep this honest:
- We only link to exchanges and tools we would recommend to a friend โ and that we'd still recommend with no affiliate program.
- Every affiliate link is visibly disclosed in the relevant article and in any dedicated "sign up" call-to-action.
- Affiliate relationships never influence whether a tool is criticized or whether risks are highlighted.
- We do not accept paid placement, sponsored articles disguised as editorial, or undisclosed promotion of tokens or projects.
What Eidode is not
- Not a licensed financial advisor.
- Not a tax, legal, or regulatory advisor for any jurisdiction.
- Not a trading signal service.
- Not a custodial wallet, exchange, or broker.
Crypto is risky. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. Always check the current rules in your country.
