Privacy Policy

The short version

• We do not sell or rent your personal data.
• We do not require an account to read Eidode.
• We use privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Analytics) and Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles help readers.
• When you sign up to a partner exchange via our affiliate link, the exchange may set a referral cookie.

What information we collect

Eidode is a publication, not a service. We collect very little:

• Pages you read — page URL, referrer, anonymized country, device type, browser. Used to understand what content is useful.
• Email you send us — if you email hello@eidode.com, we store your message so we can respond.
• No accounts, no payments, no wallet data. We never have your seed phrase, private key, or exchange password — and we will never ask.

Analytics

We use two analytics providers:

• Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly, no cookies, no fingerprinting. Counts page views and approximate location at country level.
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4)— used for traffic and engagement metrics. IP addresses are processed by Google; we have not enabled Google Signals or cross-device advertising features. Google's own data handling is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Affiliate links

Some links to exchanges and crypto tools on Eidode are affiliate links. If you sign up via one of these links, the destination service may set a tracking cookie or unique referral parameter so they can credit the signup — at no extra cost to you.

We disclose affiliate relationships on every affiliate call-to-action and in our editorial standards.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, similar laws)

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to delete or correct it.
• Opt out of analytics by blocking cookies/scripts in your browser.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For requests, email hello@eidode.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained per the provider's default retention (14 months for GA4 user-level data). Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond and meet any record-keeping obligations, then deleted.

Children

Eidode is intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact hello@eidode.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top.
